DUTCH cycling star Mathieu van der Poel won the 2019 Ovo Energy Tour of Britain after taking the final stage from Altrincham to Manchester city centre.
It was his third stage win of the week and the final day’s racing came to a close with a thrilling spring to the line, the overall winner taking the stage by the smallest of margins.
